Employee Coaching

Do you have an employee with performance problems?
A high-potential staff member in need of mentoring?
Squabbling employees who simply can’t get along?

For many years, Dr. Marie McIntyre has helped managers deal with performance problems, conflict resolution, and staff development.  Her experience as a manager, HR director, and small business owner gives her a unique perspective on these management dilemmas.

  Customized Coaching Plans

After a thorough discussion of your current circumstances and future goals, Marie will provide you with a customized Coaching Plan designed to address your particular situation and accomplish agreed-upon objectives.  A cost estimate will be included with the plan.

Coaching Plans typically begin with a phone consultation involving both the manager and employee to discuss goals for the process and review action steps. This is followed by a series of phone coaching sessions with the employee.  One or more work style assessments [hyperlink] may also be used.

“Check-in” points are established with the manager to track progress.  When the Individual Coaching Plan is completed, Dr. McIntyre and the manager will assess progress and determine if any additional services are required.

  Phone Coaching Sessions

Phone coaching sessions typically last 30 or 60 minutes, depending on how much time is needed. Payment is made by credit card through PayPal, and the cost is $49.00 per half hour.  The cost of work style assessments depends on the particular survey that is used. If at any time you are not satisfied with the services, we will gladly process a refund.

Small Business Leadership

You've built a successful business, and you should be proud of your accomplishments!
But every small business owner eventually runs into normal leadership challenges.

Maybe your employees aren’t getting along, or you have a problem performer. Perhaps communication has become more difficult or it’s tough to keep everything straight. Unfortunately, unlike corporate managers, small business owners often have nowhere to turn for help in dealing with such issues.

Through her phone coaching services, Dr. Marie McIntyre helps small business owners resolve both the challenges that come with growth and the unusual issues that arise with staff.  Marie is not only a small business owner herself, but she has also held corporate management positions and conducted leadership development workshops for managers at all levels.

Comments from clients about their small business consultation . . .

Team assessments

Do you have specific concerns about your staff or leadership team?
Or would you just like to help a good group become even better?

Just as individuals benefit from developmental activities, so do groups. Teams can become more effective by gathering data about productivity and relationships, then using the results to develop specific success strategies.

  Leadership Teams

Developed through an extensive research project involving more than 500 management team members, the Team Effectiveness Assessment for Management (TEAM) assesses a leadership group’s effectiveness on five specific Success Factors. A management team’s success or failure usually rides on their ability to implement these factors effectively.

  Work Groups

Working in teams can be both rewarding and frustrating. Team assessments use the perceptions of group members to make the team more collaborative, productive, and successful.
